Returns & Refunds
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. We cannot accept returns for gift cards. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Items with obvious signs of use
- Stickers that have been used
- Any item not in its original condition, damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund within the expected time frame, check with your bank and/or credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at service@cleverthreadsco.com.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Design Idea Submission Terms
We love hearing clever and creative ideas from our friends. If you have an idea you’d like to see on a shirt or other piece of merchandise, please submit it to us. Here’s some fine print about the submission process.
Original Work:
Your design must be original and not infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights of others.
Usage Rights:
- By submitting your design, you grant Clever Threads Co. the right to use, modify, reproduce, and distribute your design on our merchandise and marketing materials as we see fit.
- You retain the right to use your design for personal purposes, but you may not sell it or license it to other companies.
Compensation:
- Once your design sells 50 units, you will receive a free t-shirt featuring your design as a token of our appreciation.
- This free t-shirt is the only form of compensation. There are no monetary payments or royalties associated with the sales of your design.
Selection and Notification:
- Not all submissions will be selected for production. If your design is chosen, you will be notified via email within 30 days of submission.
- Clever Threads Co. reserves the right to make final decisions on all designs and their suitability for our product line.
Modifications:
Clever Threads Co. may make modifications to your design to fit our production requirements.
General Guidelines
- Respect and Integrity: Ensure your design is respectful and free from offensive content. Clever Threads Co. promotes a positive and inclusive environment.
- Inspiration: While we love inspired work, avoid directly copying or closely mimicking existing designs or well-known brands.
- Brand Alignment: Consider how your design aligns with our brand values of cleverness, creativity, and progressive views.

Contest Guidelines
Specific rules and guidelines will apply for specific contests. However, generally, to participate in a Clever Threads Co. contest:
No purchase necessary. Purchase does not enhance the chance of winning. Void where prohibited. Contest winners will be notified by email or phone within the contest’s specified time frame. Contest participants must be age 16 or older.
